BookPALS Training, April 11

New England BookPALS (Performing Artists for Literacy in Schools), a program of the SAG-AFTRA Foundation, is a unique volunteer program of performers who read aloud to children in underserved elementary schools. Our goal is to inspire young readers and bring the magic of books alive. Reading aloud to children is one of the most important things you can do to help them succeed in reading and school - and it’s fun!

Take Action to Protect Film Jobs in Massachusetts!!!

TODAY the State Legislature is holding a public hearing on H. 3978, a bill that would cripple the film & TV production incentive in Massachusetts. 

If this bill passes, it will severely restrict the film and television productions that come to Massachusetts and make our state uncompetitive. This would hurt small local businesses across the state and send thousands of Massachusetts’ jobs to competing states.
