State Senate Plans to Debate Film Tax Credit This Thursday!

We have learned that members of the State Senate in opposition of the Film and Television Incentive program may make attempts to file amendments that would dismantle the incentive this Thursday, July 14 during a debate on a House Economic Development bill.

This latest threat to the Film & Television Program is very real and we need you to take action.

Hundreds of supporters of the film and television industry and the tax incentive program were at the State House in Boston today to urge state legislators to keep the incentive in place as it is now.

A number of proposals have been filed to dismantle or weaken the program. The Legislature is now debating the state budget, where opponents in the past have tried to attack the program.
