Celebrate the Nashville Branch’s 30th anniversary with your fellow Branch members and a burger, fries, and shake. The mixer will be followed by a free film screening.  Please watch your inbox for an announcement regarding the film that will be screened.

All Screen Actors Guild members who attend will have an opportunity to purchase discount tickets to the Nashville Film Festival as well as a door prize entry for two tickets to the festival’s closing night party.

MIXER

A grass roots rally and discussion is being hosted by Nashville/L.A. casting director/producer Laray Mayfield and Stephanie Silverman & Haylee Waddey Hall of the Belcourt Theatre, with focus on attracting more film production to Tennessee, and things that members of the Nashville film community can do to support state legislation to maintain and grow film tax incentives. Everyone in the community is invited and all new ideas encouraged.

The Nashville Branch will be conducting a Joint Wages & Working Conditions Meeting in preparation for the SAG TV/Theatrical and AFTRA Exhibit A Contract Negotiations. For details on W&W 2010, please visit either the Screen Actors Guild website at SAG.org or the AFTRA website at AFTRA.com.

Proposals for this important negotiation are developed through the involvement of members like you. Make your voice heard, attend and participate in this very important process.  Meetings are open to all paid-up SAG and AFTRA members.

The Nashville Film Festival celebrates its 41st year by screening more than 220 films from more than 40 nations.  The festival seeks to inspire, educate, and entertain its more than 25,000 guests annually through celebrating the art of cinema and the individuals who create it.

Come out with your non-union friends to this workshop.  Designed for aspiring and working actors, this workshop will answer a wide variety of questions about the Guild on topics ranging from how to qualify for membership, working under contracts and how residuals work. Get the scoop from Nashville Executive Director Leslie Krensky and a panel of Screen Actors Guild members.
