As a performer you are your own business and an understanding of “the biz” is critical to your success. In this seminar, David Westberg brings a rich treasure trove of information for actors in their quest for success from a business standpoint of their craft. David has worked in all areas of the entertainment industry that affect actors, beginning as an actor himself in 1967. He has also stepped behind the camera working first for Actors Equity then as an agent, a casting associate, and finally as CEO of David Westberg Management before returning to acting.
Your success as an actor is contingent upon meeting the “right” people who are in a position to cast you. In a business where it’s easy to feel stuck or like there’s a lack of opportunities, applying branding principles will help you find the work you want. During this seminar learn: 4 steps to building a brand and how to start; 5 essential brand components; the importance of brand and how to establish that brand in the industry.
