The Screen Actors Guild Foundation is now accepting submissions from filmmakers residing in all states west of the Mississippi for its April 2014 Los Angeles Short Film Showcase.
All shorts MUST be produced under a SAG Short Film, SAG Student Agreement or SAG-AFTRA New Media contract, not run more than 20 minutes, including credits – no exceptions, and be completed films. Previous submitted films are eligible for re-submission.

Submissions: AAC presents a Script 2 Screen private table read for industry and investors of 2-Foot Grave by Antonio Flores. 

SAG-AFTRA Houston Conservatory co-hosts a screening of The Retrieval followed by a Q&A with writer, director and editor Chris Eska, Houston-Austin Local member Tishuan Scott, executive producer Sibyl Avery-Jackson and producer Jason Wahling.

SAG-AFTRA Houston Conservatory will host a Script 2 Screen LIVE Read on Sunday, March 23, 2014. Script 2 Screen is a live reading by professional actors of unproduced film or TV scripts before casting directors, producers, directors, potential investors and other industry pros for one performance only.

Readings are free and open to the public.
