Last year you got up early and stood in the frigid cold to support the industry and watch the Colorado Legislature officially designate Feb. 8 as CINEMA Day! We certainly made an impressive showing and brought attention to film and media and the need for a meaningful film incentive program in the state.

This year we’re not asking you to bundle up and stand on the steps of the state capitol, but we are encouraging you to join your fellow SAG-AFTRA members, industry professionals and state legislators for a CINEMA Day celebration at the History Colorado Center.

An Online Submission Workshop with Digital Audition Expert Aaron Giombolini

We are pleased to announce the return of the Conservatory, now officially called the SAG-AFTRA Denver Local Conservatory! The name may have changed, but the goal remains the same, to offer member workshops with top notch casting directors, teachers and other industry professionals at minimal cost.

Start: 09/06/2012 - 12:00am
End: 09/06/2012 - 2:00am

This meeting will provide the members the opportunity to hear a report via webinar titled Commercial Trends Every Performer Needs to Know About, and you will also receive an update on the Gross Ratings Points (GRP) Study and other important topics related to the Commercials Contract. A group discussion will follow the presentation, affording staff the opportunity to hear membership’s response to these findings. We look forward to your participation as your input is vital to our negotiation preparation.
