Celebrating the Legacy of Ruth Louise Ratny

The SAG-AFTRA Chicago Local celebrates the life of Ruth Louise Ratny, founder and editor of Screen Magazine and ReelChicago, who passed away Feb. 21.

After an accomplished career working as an advertiser, producer and scriptwriter for non-theatrical films, Ratny created Screen Magazine and ReelChicago to showcase Chicago visual media and the business behind it.

The Kaufherr Members Resource Center will host a fundraiser at Zanies on March 6 with headliners and SAG-AFTRA members Michael Issac and Calvin Evans!

Chicago's Original Comedy Club, Zanies in Old Town, has been presenting the best in live standup comedy since 1978. The veritable who's who in comedy has commanded center stage over the years.
