I WOULD LOVE TO READ TO CHILDREN!

BOOKPALS (Performing Artists for Literacy in Schools) is a national literacy program administered by the nonprofit Screen Actors Guild Foundation. 

It’s a unique program of volunteer performers who read aloud to children, showing them the joy of reading. 

BookPALS read in school classrooms, hospitals, libraries, and shelters. 

The SAG Foundation Short Film Showcase is now accepting short films and webseries – from states East of the Mississippi.

 

  • 20 minute limit – including credits
  • Project must be produced under a SAG-AFTRA contract
  • No cost to submit
  • Filmmaker must be present at screening
