August SAG Agent of the Month: Lisa Berman, Berman/Sacks Talent Agency

Lisa Berman, Berman/Sacks Talent Agency

Lisa Berman is awesome! I have only been signed with her for the last two months, but I have been a fan of hers for over a year. She puts out a blog on her website ( and updates it at least a few times a week and the whole blog is about the pitfalls we get into as actors and how to change those around so that we can actually have productive careers (and you don't have to be a client of hers to read these!). My roommate is an actor and my girlfriend is a dancer, and although they have different agents than I do, we’ve all struggled to secure good representation. I have learned what good agents do and don’t do.  I have a friend who signed with Lisa and booked the very first audition that she went out on.  My agent is definitely a business woman, but she also cares about her clients. She sends me out on SAG low budget projects, for which she makes no money, but help me along in my journey. In my opinion that makes her an awesome agent!  I feel very fortunate to be at Berman/Sacks Talent Agency.
