Words From Your Local President

Joe Corcoran

Dear Members,

We wish to extend to all of you our wishes of the joy of family, gift of friends and the best of everything in 2018. As we are a special union family, we are happy to have the opportunity to thank all of you for your help, volunteerism and unity of purpose.

Please join us at future member meetings, events and at the upcoming SAG Awards party in Phoenix or Salt Lake City honoring our peers. Be sure to vote for the SAG Awards and watch your email for the party invite.

We also look forward to receiving support from the new director of locals administration, Lisha Brock. Lisha will service us from the SAG-AFTRA Dallas office but will be visiting us regularly to help us with such efforts as the new Regional Commercials Code, membership meetings and events. She comes with great experience as both an active member (previously president of the Dallas Branch of Screen Actors Guild), as well as a past staff member. We welcome Lisha as we wish happy retirement to our outgoing director of locals administration, Marcia Fishman.

We are excited for the coming year in getting to know more of you personally. It takes a lot of individual and collective energy to have a successful organization like ours, and we thank all of you.

Happy holidays from your local board and blessings to all!

Sincerely,

Joe Corcoran
Arizona-Utah Local President
