I would like to enter Kathleen Schultz of Kathleen Schultz Associates, as SAG’s Agent of the Month. Kathleen has been an agent in Los Angeles for 36 years! She has owned a very successful SAG franchised agency for 26 years, first as Dade/Rosen/Schultz, and now as Kathleen Schultz Associates. Although the agency is known for representing character actors, Kathleen has also signed talented working actors who are making a name for themselves. Her agency, in its 26 years, started the careers of Emilio Estevez, Lorenzo Lamas and Nicholas Brendon, among innumerable others.
Kathleen has a reputation for being honest with casting directors. She will not waste anyone's time with inappropriate submissions or demands; a trust has developed over the years that has resulted in her clients being taken seriously. Kathleen will tell you her specialty is treating all clients as human beings, not inanimate objects, or a bottom line, but as a sum of their parts — not only taking into account their strengths and abilities, but also their opinions,individual tastes and needs. Kathleen is attentive, she follows up and she is available. If I call with a question or concern, she will answer me within the day. She is a true "gentlewoman" in this industry. Kathleen Schultz deserves a place as SAG’s Agent of the Month.
