The Frank Nelson Memorial Sick & Benefit Fund of the AFTRA Foundation provides emergency financial aid and other resources to qualified members of SAG-AFTRA Locals west of Omaha.
The Frank Nelson Fund is temporarily not accepting applications. The Fund will resume its grant program in the near future. Please check the SAG-AFTRA website for updates.
Union Plus provides help for union families facing financial hardship. To see if you qualify, click here.
You may also qualify for aid from the SAG Foundation and the Actors Fund. Please call the Actors Fund at 323-933-9244 for an intake counselor and the SAG Foundation at 323-549-6773 for information on their emergency grant programs.

The Frank Nelson Memorial Sick & Beneft Fund is not supported by member dues. It depends upon the generosity of your donations and corporate partnering such as “Ralphs Club Card” membership. If you have a Ralphs Club Card, please consider registering it and identifying The Frank Nelson Fund as the recipient of your community contribution. Here’s how it works:

Even if you are not a Ralph’s customer, there is still an opportunity to donate. Simply make your check payable to the AFTRA Foundation and be sure to include Frank Nelson Fund on the memo line. All donations are a tax deductible contribution. Thank you!
